Rotary youth

Here at the Rotary we encourage all family members to take an acvtive role in activities and programmes, ancd we specifically encourage young people to develop personal skills and a better awareness  of problems that face the world today.

Young Rotary is a brilliant opportunity for young like minded people to meet, work and have a great time whilst being fully supported by senior rotarians.

We run clubs for different age groups including 12-18, and 7-12, which both teach children to help out in the community and across the world, whilst developing early stages of professional skills, and teaching the importantce of selfless-ness.

For example in the past we have got a group of Rotary youth members involved with aa range of local industrys. One year we had them get involved in local flooring businesses and a group of ten youths worked with companies like Dallas Flooring and Dobson's Flooring America.

Rotary Youth Exchange

As well as your weekly community group involvement, we also offer the Rotary youth exchange student projectm where you can spend upto a year living with host families and attending school in a different country.

Being involved in one of these projects means you will learn an exciting new way of living, a great deal about yourself and maybe even a new language.

The exchanges can take place in more than 150 countries and the possibilities are always changing, regardless of location. However you will always receive a top quality experience that will stand you in good stead for your professional career and life in general.

You'll be an ambassador for the Rotary and will have an unforgetable experience to remember.

Rorarty Youth exchange is only available for ages 15-19 and each applicant must show exceptional community involvement to be considered for this much sought after opportunity.
